A Personalized Coloring Book Made From Your Photos
Pick your favorite family photos and CrayonSnap compiles them into a printable coloring book starring the people, pets, and places your kids actually love.
What is a personalized coloring book?
A personalized coloring book replaces generic clip-art pages with line-art versions of your real photos. Instead of coloring a stock princess, your kid colors the cousin, the dog, the cake, the camping trip. It's the difference between "an activity" and "a story they were part of."
How to make a personalized coloring book in 4 steps
- Pick 8–20 photos from your camera roll — variety of people, pets, and places.
- Upload them in a batch on the upload page (paid plans support batch).
- Review the line-art previews and regenerate any you'd like in a different style.
- Download the PDF booklet — print double-sided on cardstock, staple or 3-hole punch.
Printed, bound personalized coloring books — coming soon
Soon you'll be able to order your personalized coloring book as a real printed, bound book shipped to your door — a ready-made gift for kids, grandparents and birthdays. Until then, you can make your book today and download it as a print-ready PDF to print at home or at any local print shop.
Who personalized coloring books are perfect for
- Grandparents — a 20-page book of the grandkids' year. Always a hit.
- Birthdays — every page features the birthday kid, the cake, the friends.
- Holidays — Christmas, Hanukkah, Mother's Day, Father's Day keepsakes.
- Long flights or road trips — a custom activity book the kids haven't seen before.

Built privacy-first, because these are photos of your kids
Most photo tools quietly keep your images. We don't. Here's exactly what happens to a photo you upload to CrayonSnap.
Photos auto-delete within 7 days
A nightly, logged job removes your original upload from our servers within 7 days; residual encrypted backup copies are purged within about 30 days. You can delete it sooner from your library at any time.
Not used to train AI
Your kids' faces are not training data. We use a paid, enterprise AI API whose terms contractually prohibit training on submitted content — never the free consumer tier.
Never sold or shared
No data brokers, no ad networks, no selling photos or email addresses. Ever.
Read the full child privacy policy — plain English, no legal maze.
Tweak any page with one sentence
Add a name, simplify it for toddlers, turn it into a color-by-number — just type what you want and our AI edits the page without redrawing the whole thing.
