Child Privacy Notice

    CrayonSnap is built so parents, guardians, teachers, and daycare providers can turn family photos into printable coloring pages. We know many of those photos include kids, so this short notice — written in plain English — explains exactly how we treat children's images. It supplements our full Privacy Policy.

    Who CrayonSnap is for

    CrayonSnap is for adults. Children may not create accounts or upload photos themselves. A parent, guardian, or other authorized caregiver controls the account and is responsible for any photos uploaded.

    You must have permission to upload a child's photo

    Only upload a photo of a child if you are the child's parent or legal guardian, or if you have permission from the parent or legal guardian. For group photos (classmates, birthday parties, daycare classes), you need permission for every visible child.

    What we do — and don't do — with the photo

    • We use the photo only to generate the coloring page you requested.
    • We do not sell or rent the photo.
    • We do not use the photo for advertising.
    • We do not use the photo or generated coloring page to train AI models.
    • We do not use the photo in marketing without your separate opt-in permission.
    • We share the photo only with the service providers that operate CrayonSnap (hosting, image AI for the conversion, payment, email).

    How long we keep it

    • Original photo: automatically deleted from our active systems after 7 days.
    • Generated coloring page: stays in your gallery so you can re-download, kept for up to 1 year or until you delete it.
    • Encrypted backups: may keep deleted files for a short rolling window (typically up to 30 days) before being overwritten.

    Delete anytime

    Sign in, open My Coloring Pages, select the items you want to remove, and click Delete — both the original photo and the coloring page are removed immediately. To delete an entire account, email hello@crayonsnap.com.

    COPPA

    CrayonSnap is a general-audience service intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. If you believe a child's photo or information was uploaded without proper parental consent, email hello@crayonsnap.com and we will delete it promptly.

    Daycares, preschools and schools

    Organizations using CrayonSnap on behalf of children must obtain parent or guardian consent before uploading any child's photo and follow our Daycare / School Addendum.
