Parent / Guardian Photo Consent Form

    A generic photo release almost never covers sending a child's photo to an outside service. This form does — it names CrayonSnap, says what happens to the photo, and gives parents a clear yes or no. Print it, add your center's name, and send it home before you upload a single picture.

    Keep signed forms on file at your center. CrayonSnap does not collect or store them, and your organization remains responsible for obtaining consent under the Daycare / School Addendum.

    Permission to Create Coloring Pages from Your Child's Photo

    Our program would like to use a service called CrayonSnap (crayonsnap.com) to turn photos of the children in our care into printable black-and-white coloring pages for classroom activities.

    What this involves

    • A staff member uploads a photo of your child to CrayonSnap.
    • The photo is sent to a paid, enterprise artificial-intelligence image service (Google's Gemini API) for the single purpose of converting it into line art. The provider's terms contractually prohibit using submitted content to train or improve its models.
    • The original photo is automatically deleted within 7 days. Residual encrypted backup copies are purged within about 30 days.
    • The resulting coloring page is printed for classroom use.
    • Photos are never sold, rented, shared with data brokers or advertisers, or used in CrayonSnap marketing.
    • No facial-recognition, faceprint, or other biometric data is created or stored.

    Your choice

    Participation is optional. You may say no, and your child will take part in the same activity using a non-photo coloring page. You may withdraw this permission at any time by telling the program director in writing; we will stop uploading your child's photos and ask CrayonSnap to delete anything still stored.
