Daycare / School Addendum

1. Authorized Use

The Organization and the individuals it authorizes (teachers, directors, administrators) may use CrayonSnap to create printable coloring pages for educational and recreational use with the children in the Organization's care. The person who creates and manages the account represents that they are authorized to bind the Organization to this Addendum and the Terms of Service.

2. Parental / Guardian Consent

Before uploading any photo of a child, the Organization is solely responsible for:

• Obtaining clear, verifiable consent from the child's parent or legal guardian to upload the photo to CrayonSnap and have it processed into a coloring page;
• Having permission for every child visible in group photos (classes, parties, field trips);
• Following its own privacy policies and any applicable laws (such as COPPA, FERPA, or state student-privacy laws);
• Honoring any parent's request to remove their child's photo, by deleting the relevant items in CrayonSnap or by emailing hello@crayonsnap.com.

3. CrayonSnap Acts as a Service Provider

When CrayonSnap processes children's information uploaded by the Organization, CrayonSnap acts as a limited service provider / processor on the Organization's behalf and:

• Uses the information only to provide the Service to the Organization;
• Does not sell or rent the information;
• Does not use the information for advertising;
• Does not use the information to train AI models;
• Does not use the information for any commercial purpose unrelated to providing the Service;
• Maintains reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards consistent with our Privacy Policy.

4. Data Retention & Deletion

• Original uploaded photos are deleted from active systems after 7 days.
• Generated coloring pages are retained for up to 1 year, or until the Organization deletes them or closes the account.
• The Organization can request bulk deletion of all uploads and outputs at any time by emailing hello@crayonsnap.com.

5. Permitted Outputs

Coloring pages generated by the Service may be printed and distributed to children and parents within the Organization's program. Public posting of generated pages that include a recognizable likeness of a child requires the same parent / guardian permission described in Section 2.

6. Prohibited Uploads

The Organization may not upload photos that depict children in any nude, sexual, suggestive, exploitative, or otherwise inappropriate context, or photos that violate the prohibited content rules in our Terms of Service.

7. Indemnity

The Organization will defend, indemnify, and hold CrayonSnap harmless from claims arising out of (a) the Organization's failure to obtain required parent / guardian consent, (b) the Organization's breach of this Addendum or the Terms of Service, or (c) the Organization's violation of applicable children's privacy or student-privacy laws.

9. Acceptance

An authorized representative of the Organization must accept this Addendum below. We record the acceptance with a timestamp, the accepting account, and the version of the documents shown, and will provide that record to the Organization on request.
